Since we’re all spending so much more time at home this year — and dealing with more stress and anxiety than ever before, we’ve teamed up with Bliss Design and Interiors to present these seven tried-and-true ways for creating your own healing oasis at home.
This pandemic has been a roller coaster, right? Thank you for bearing with us as we balance taking care of our Bliss Farm family, as well as being mindful and supportive of our clients — and what they’re experiencing through this emotional time.
From yoga to healing retreats to private moments with our team, the theme of 2019 could be encapsulated by one word: growth. Let’s recap the year in milestones. Care to take a trip down memory lane with us?
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we want to express our gratitude for an exceptional 2019 retreat season and reflect on what it means to serve others in the work that we do at Bliss Farm and Retreat.
It’s almost as if everything leading up to co-founding Bliss Farm and Retreat prepared Kelly for this soulful venture. The hard-working co-founder continues to infuse love into every aspect of the retreat experience. Without her, there’d be no Bliss. This is Kelly’s story.

July at Bliss is…blissful. You can hear, see, smell, and taste the life all around us in the most delightful ways; the grounds and surrounding mountains are lush with greenness. The songbirds wake us up with sweet melodies, and the organic gardens are teeming with pollinators and bearing fruits. The flow of guests coming to Bliss Farm and Retreat to practice, relax, and to be present add to the fullness of our summer season.
With this year’s season entirely booked up (aside from one cancellation October 4-6*) and in full swing, we’re currently accepting reservations for 2020 group retreats. Our center becomes more “seasoned” with each year, and the enthusiasm from retreat leaders continues to grow in tandem with our amenities, offerings, and team.

Recently, we hosted a special retreat weekend with a non-profit group close to our hearts. The retreat focused on healing for spouses who have been widowed as a result of veteran suicide. We’re honored to offer Bliss Farm and Retreat as a space for this cause and as a veteran of the Marines, the experience hit close to home and brought tears to my eyes.
The harshness of winter and early spring is the time of year when we’re most likely to be susceptible to the colds and flus that seem to be constantly “going around.” For that reason, we would love to offer the recipe for our beloved “Ninja Soup.” This is a great recipe to stimulate the immune system, nourish the soul, and simply produce a palpable coziness from the inside.
Sometimes the winter lasts longer than you ever thought possible. Here we are, in the last 2 official weeks of the season, and temps rise, then dip. Daffodils, snowdrops, and crocuses bravely reveal themselves only to be punished with frost. So how can you restore yourself during this time of transition, sometimes fraught with pain or bleakness?
We love our work at Bliss Farm and Retreat, and part of the experience we create is in sharing the experiences, cultures, tastes, and practices from around the world.
2018 was a milestone year in terms of growth and expansion for Bliss Farm and Retreat. We know this next year will be equally monumental, and we thought these cold January days would be the perfect time to reflect on how far we’ve come and where we plan to go!
Western North Carolina’s favorite mountain retreat center just got a little bit dreamier! We’re pleased to announce the completion of the Bali Bliss cabin, which is Bliss Farm & Retreat’s newest eco-friendly, luxurious, and consciously curated accommodations in Barnardsville, NC, near Asheville.
The ancient mountains surrounding Bliss Farm & Retreat are famous for offering peace, restoration, and inspiration, making them the perfect backdrop for retreats facilitated here. If you have a vision to lead a retreat hugged by these mountains in a peaceful, holistic setting, our center may be the perfect fit.
At Bliss Farm and Retreat, we focus on creating a lifestyle that supports the totality of human health, placing equal value on physical, mental and emotional well-being. Scientific evidence and spiritual teachings across many cultures share a common truth when it comes to living optimally and healthfully: we cannot attain desirable physical health without also tending to our emotional and mental needs.
We knew we wanted to add more cabins to our property from the moments we founded Bliss Farm & Retreat and began offering peaceful, nourishing experiences to our guests. In 2016, our dreams of creating a retreat center came true after meticulous planning, farming, studying, and building. Now in our 2nd successful year, we could not be more thrilled to expand the accommodations at Bliss Farm & Retreat with Bali Bliss, our newest guest cabin!
