Kelly K

Owner

As co-founder of Bliss Farm & Retreat, Kelly and her late husband Frank left working careers in suburbia to chase inspiration. Fueled by the thought of pursuing an intentional life centered on helping others unplug from the busyness of the world, founding Bliss Farm & Retreat has always been about more than opening a business.

It all started when Kelly’s collegiate art background motivated her to pick up from small-town Georgia and dive into a life of adventure and travel. Much of the inspiration for Bliss Farm and Retreat is derived from trips across the globe from Costa Rica to Thailand and beyond. Once settled from her travel, she decided on the outskirts of Asheville, NC because of the area’s unique energy, expansive wilderness, and artful culture. Immersed in art, health, and yoga for over 10 years has unfolded opportunities she never could have imagined, all leading to Bliss.

Running Bliss Farm & Retreat with integrity, she considers this venture her life’s work. Allowing others an inviting space to find nourishment, to heal themselves, and to find peace within means the world to Kelly, as she oftentimes finds her own fulfillment in fulfilling others.

Becca

Accommodations Manager

Whether you are visiting for a self-retreat or planning a larger gathering, Becca leads the team in making sure accommodations are organized and is always looking to exceed expectations.

This mother of two marries her love for nature with a love for children, volunteering as a guardian ad litem - an advocate for children navigating the foster care system. This PASSION overflowed into co-founding Wildberry Sanctuary, a nature-based therapy organization aimed to support foster care families.

Hailing from Louisiana, she has picked up many interests between the bayou and the mountains of North Carolina. Find her reading Tarot cards, gardening and wild foraging, spoon carving, hiking, kayaking, long-boarding, or tending to her favorite farm animals (the geese and goats.)

Her biggest wellness tip? Eat wild foods and drink wild water whenever possible.

Kelly G

Landscape + Garden Manager

With rooted passion in growing food and plants, Kelly G. shares a deep connection with the natural world. You can thank her for keeping the grounds of Bliss Farm and Retreat beautiful and for ensuring the garden is full of wholesome food.

After making the jump from suburban life in Ohio over 10 years ago, Kelly G. now lives in a 10x20’ house she built in a small neighborhood of friends in Barnardsville with her 13-year-old pup. Always looking to learn more skills to live in harmony with the earth and to be of service to her community, she especially loves to share her knowledge with children and is committed to shaping future generations to be self-sufficient and resilient.

Her dream? Building an eccentric greenhouse filled to the brim with green, purple, and exotic flowers… complete with a saline hot tub, of course.
