Military Healing Retreats

Military Retreat Asheville

A space for warriors and their families to heal.

Bliss Farm and Retreat is a restorative sanctuary for military families and veterans. The Bliss team honors the legacy of co-founder and former Marine, Frank King, who understood the hardships and risks associated with military service and who was passionate about creating a space for people to cultivate a sense of meaning, peace, and fulfillment.

The retreat center, located thirty minutes north of Asheville, is the ideal setting for visitors and program attendees to enjoy the simple pleasures of nature, nourishment, and rest. Tranquility is indeed a necessity, and not just a luxury, for those experiencing military-related loss and trauma. Veterans and military families have utilized the facilities at Bliss to engage in therapy, enjoy motivational speakers, connect with like-minded individuals, and develop a variety of life skills.

In remembrance of Frank, who was committed to offering the programs and facilities so vital to the healing of military veterans and their families, Kelly King continues to serve and support military personnel through a sustained partnership with the EOD Warrior Foundation and allied organizations.

If you are a like-minded mental health professional looking to host retreats in a serene and welcoming setting focused on supporting the families of deployed military personnel, victims of military-related loss, and/or veterans, let’s chat.
