A Covid Update from Bliss Farm

This pandemic has been a roller coaster, right?

Thank you for bearing with us as we balance taking care of our Bliss Farm family, as well as being mindful and supportive of our clients — and what they’re experiencing through this emotional time.

Like you, we’ve been faced with many tough decisions.

And we’re learning the lesson of moving gracefully through uncertainty, recognizing that we have no control over the outcome.

On the positive side, this pause has in some ways offered us the deep breath we’ve needed… but perhaps wouldn’t have gifted ourselves.

As challenging as these times are, we believe there are divine lessons and guidance being provided to humans at this time. Our normal operations and flow of life have been interrupted. We’re being led to reconnect with the universe and practice trust in the face of uncertainty.

We’re doing our best to allow patience and understanding with our earth and universe. As we try to find balance on shifting ground, we’re holding space for the truth of a bigger plan at hand.

We’ve made improvements to the land and our garden and given nourishing time to animals. Next time you’re here, you’ll meet our geese, the newest addition to our farm family (in addition to the goats and chickens). Our dogs are also loving having more outside time to play.

Kelly, our owner, has been given space to heal and reflect and map out a new chapter for herself and BFR.

While we’re living through this uncertainty, we’re doing our best to take care of ourselves, our land, and our staff so that when it’s possible again, we’ll be able to reopen.

On behalf of our Bliss Farm community here in Asheville, we wish you strength, compassion, kind, and hope. We’ll get through these times the way we always do — together.

As it always has been, community is everything right now.

And we would love to stay connected with you.

The truth is, our continued operation depends on the continued support of our incredible guests, retreat leaders, community members. We’re a small business in an industry with a small profit margin.
